Open Sculpture Studio

This free open studio event welcomes “artists” of all ages– young children must have adult supervision.

- Tuesday, May 8th to Friday May 11th 3:00 -5:00pm
- Donations accepted
All are welcome to watch or with the gentle guidance, help the artists work and assemble with objects such as wood, metal, paint and more! Each day’s creative activity will be Introduced with a short reading such as The Tin by Helen Ward.
“There was once a wide, windswept place, near nowhere and close to forgotten, that was filled with all the things no one wanted.”
Using concrete, a salvaged porch post or a treated 4×4 post, and a 10 gallon metal milk can we will create a Found Object, “Victorian” fence post.
Mini-Monet Class

Ages 18 month through 3 years of age with an adult. Bring your child and have a great time painting, drawing, and playing while meeting other fun- loving toddlers and adults.

Watercolor Painting for Kids!

Pre-School Picasso

Let’s Draw & Paint!

Learning new art mediums helps your student be creative problem-solvers! Bev will encourage students to transform your drawings and sketches into paintings. Learn the basics of color, texture, line, movement, shape and value of painting. Grades 1-5.

May Day Free Art Celebration!
Join the Art Center staff on May 6th as we introduce our teachers while registering for Camp Creativity! Enjoy creating at multiple Make-and-take art booths!
Featured artist this day includes Geoff and Todd: Interact and participate with these artists as they create a “found object” sculpture. See how they manipulate and attach, materials such as wood, metal, paint, or plastic to create a free standing piece of art!
This open Studio will continue from May 8th – 11th. Tuesday- Friday, 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm- donations accepted!
This free art day for all is a great day to receive discounts on early camp registration.

Arty Parties- coming soon!
These FREE art parties are sponsored by a grant by the gracious Sisters of Saint Joseph Charitable Fund.
The Art Factory will open to the public on Saturday STARTING November 5 , from 10 am – 12 pm. You can try a different art medium or project each week. This is not a “class”, just an opportunity for you to come and play with art. Parents can also sit back and watch the kids as they make friends and play in the Big Room. This is designed for children 12 and under and parents must stay with their kids. Donations welcomed!
